I need help finding scripture that talks about the nails that were driven into Jesus’ hands and feet…
There aren’t any verses in the Bible that explicitly detail the nails being driven through his hands and feet. The Bible only says that Jesus was crucified.
Psalm 22 gives a prophecy of what would happen hundreds of years before it did. I do not have my Bible with me….Gasp! Go to bible gateway put in key word it will direct you.
You won’t find a specific verse that says He was nailed to a cross. All four of the gospels make mention of Jesus being crucified but none say how, specifically.
Remember that crucifixion was a rather common form of execution at the time. Nobody would have had to be told about it–this was something just about everybody was aware of.
The closest I can think of is in John 20. Thomas had declared he wouldn’t believe that Jesus had risen from the dead until he saw (personally) the prints of the nails in His (Jesus’) hands. Jesus told Thomas to reach and see, or reach and touch.
I sure hope this helps in at least some way.
